Commercial greenhouses cost $25–$35 per sq ft installed. Hoop houses blow apart in wind. Traditional builds are permanent — you cannot move them when you move. The Agrosphere is a modular year-round greenhouse you build from standard lumber. 80 sq ft, trailer-mountable, grows food at -20°F.

Frequently Asked Questions
Leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, kale, herbs) thrive year-round with hydroponics. Fruiting crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers do best in spring through fall but can extend into winter with supplemental LED lighting.
The transparent polycarbonate panels maximize natural light. In northern latitudes, supplemental LED grow lights (full-spectrum, 200-400W total) keep plants productive through short winter days. The handbook includes lighting layout recommendations.
A small HVAC unit or exhaust fan system maintains temperature. Humidity is managed through ventilation and dehumidification. The enclosed geodesic structure retains heat efficiently, reducing heating costs compared to traditional greenhouses.
